CBS sports will show the semifinals and championship game of the NCAA men’s basketball tournament in 3D. They struck a deal with Cinedigm Digital Cinema Corp. to show the Final Four games in 100 movie theaters throughout the nation. Pricing has yet to be established. CBS selected Pace, who had involvement in Avatar to help in production.  “This is another experiment. We’re looking to learn as much as we can.” said CBS Sports Senior Vice president of operations and production, Ken Aagaard.  He also mentioned football is likely to get the same treatment!
