This makes me very excited as I am a DirecTV customer. A few days ago the company launched it's DirecTV-12 satellite which will not only grant access to over 200more HD channels for its customers but it will also allow 3D television to be ready next year. According to DSLreports.com the 3D capability will be enabled by a simple firmware update. So if you have a HDTV box already then you should be good to go by next year (assuming you have a 3D television set).
I think 2010 is going to be a pi...

I'm sure anyone that saw Avatar could see this next statement coming a mile away. Conservatives are out on the prowl and looking to boycott the movie as it is "Anti-American". Taken from Breitbart:
"However, there is one thing about the movie that really upsets me. It is blatant anti-military and less blatant anti-American. Without giving away too much of the plot, the bad guys in the movie are the United States Marines. Apparently, in the future, the world has become one big country th...

If you went out to see Avatar this weekend you may have been "lucky" enough to see the trailer for the new movie called Piranha 3D. I use lucky in quotations because lets face it, this movie looks to be one of the most absurd, predictable, and downright cheesy movies ever. I cant be certain but it would appear this movie took about 2days to shoot with the director always pondering what kind of thing he could use as a gimmicky 3d effect next. The trailer starts out kind of cool actually it looks ...
How I fell in love with an alien – Avatar Review.

James Cameron's Avatar has earned the title for the most expensive movie ever created. In my opinion it was well worth it. I can say without a doubt in my mind this movie has revolutionized the world of cinema. I love movies that are bold and movies that try something new, and Avatar has done both. Avatar is one of those movies that comes along very rarely that make you come out of the theater looking at life in a different way and asking yourself questions that you've never asked.
I will do ...

Here is the latest trailer for Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland. This is the first real good look we get into the movie, and I must say I am loving the direction they are going. I have always loved the unique artistic style of Burton and Alice in Wonderland seems to be a great match for him. The red queen is absolutely hilarious. I love how she looks and found it quite funny when she commands "I need a pig here" and after the pig slides under her feet she says to the Mad Hatter "I love a warm p...
