Here are three new pictures for the upcoming film Tron Legacy. They don't show anything new but they are still post worthy. The visuals look crazy, and I am sure this movie will push the next step of 3-D evolution.

New Piranha 3-D trailer is awful.

A new trailer for Piranha 3-D has came out and this movie to me seems more like a comedy than a scary movie. I mean the acting is so horrible in the trailer I can't even imagine how it will be in the full length film considering movies like these usually pick all the best parts to put in the trailer. I'm sure this is a movie that I will walk out either completely dumbfounded and find the entire thing absolutely hilarious, or I'll be completely pissed that I spent the last hour and a half of my l...

Me being a complete astronomy geek this is one of the most amazing things I've got to write about so far. James Cameron met with NASA administrator Charles Bolden saying a mars rover with a better set of eyes will help the public connect with the mission. This convinced Bolden who now has plans to affix a 3D Mastcam onto Curiosity, Mars new rover.
This opens up just mind-blowing possibilities. We have all seen pictures of mars by now, but to sit in a theater and watch the martian surface com...

Disney/Pixar announced that Monsters Inc. 2 will be coming to theaters on November 16, 2012 and will be in 3-D!
I love Pixar movies, and I really enjoyed the first Monsters Inc. but one thing came to mind when I read this. Poor Mike Wazowski won't be able to see his own film in 3-D, you need 2 eyes. Poor guy.
Sorry Mike, no 3-D movies for you!...

Evidently I spoke too soon about my internet getting fixed as after writing a few posts the other day my internet went back down. But It is now back up and running fine so I will finish what should have been posted a couple of days ago.
The trailer for this movie looks pretty awesome, and it seems like M. Night Shyamalan has taken a far leap from his usual movie. I wonder though, if the enemy will be tree's revolting against human kind and poisoning our air. Let's hope the story is not as ri...

Over the past few weeks I have been adding a few tweaks and additions to this web page. I thought I would share two of the latest features with you.
3DMarquee.com is now Iphone and Ipad friendly. If you load up the site from either device, the website will now act like an app, rather than a website. This will make it much easier to browse posts, view pictures, and even write comments. If you save the website in your Iphone or IPad favorites you can then use the website like any other app, ra...

In an interview with collieder Ridley Scott confirms that there will be not only one, but two new ALIEN prequels, and that they will both be shot in 3D. The cameras used to shoot the movie will be twice as effective as the ones used for James Cameron's Avatar. According to Ridley Scott the ALIEN script is now on it's fourth draft. His main concern with shooting the new ALIEN prequel is the lighting problems that arise when you use 3D. The specially coated silver screen used in 3D movies naturall...

According to showbiz411 Men in Black 3D is ready to begin filming in 3D. Director Barry Sonnefeld told showbiz411 that Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones have both signed on to do the third installment in the Men in Black franchise. The director is just waiting for the script to be written and filming will start. I would assume this will start shooting soon, and I expect the movie to be out some time next summer.
This is the kind of movie that will absolutely rock in 3D. Too many studios are usin...
Green Hornet to get 3D makeover/ Gets new release date.

Collider is reporting that The Green Hornet has had it's release date pushed back from December 22 of this year to January 14, 2011.
The film was shot with a regular camera, not in native 3D which means the studio will have to hire an outside company that converts the film to 3D. I really dislike the conversion, especially if it's a rush job like it was in Clash of The Titans. It seems they should have plenty of time to do a nice job at the conversion and I hope this works a bit better than ...
