One of the best selling films of all time will now be available to own tomorrow. Avatar will be released tomorrow on Bluray/DVD. If you have not seen this movie yet, do yourself a favor and buy it, not rent it. It's a movie that won't get old even after watching it 10-15 times. I can't wait to see this movie again, and I am very interested to see if it will still have the same feel when it's not in 3D. If you want to buy it, amazon is having a deal right now where you can get the Bluray/DVD comb...

Apple has filed a patent that would allow users to attach their iphone, ipod or other devices to the glasses which have special lenses in them that split the picture into two images, one for your right eye, one for your left eye.
The image will also be in high definition. I would say judging by the next part these glasses will be fairly expensive. They will have sensors embedded in the glasses that detect the precise location of the users eyes and adjusts the image accordingly. The devic...

Samsung issued some warnings on their website earlier this week. They say pregnant women, drunk people and "those who are sleep deprived" should not watch 3-D television because of potential health issues. They also say anyone who has risk of stroke or epileptic seizures should consult a medical professional before watching TV in three dimensions.
If that wasn't enough of a warning they even have some that apply to everyone. "Viewing 3D television may also cause motion sickness, perceptual ...

When I started to watch this, at first I thought it was just an ad before the actual Toy Story clip. This doesn't show much, other than one new character. The boulder/rock looking guy is something that hasn't been shown before so I am interested in seeing what kind of a role he will have in the movie.

Here is a collection of 3D images that you can see with the naked eye. I'm sure if you were born within the last 20 or so years or if you watched Seinfeld you remember the Magic Eye craze of the 90's. Well these use the same concept, only you get to view nebula, and galaxies in 3D which is pretty amazing. I know a lot of people have trouble viewing these so let me give you a few pointers. The easiest way for beginners is to pretend to stare at the wall behind your monitor instead of the actual p...

Being a Resident Evil fan I decided to comb over this trailer frame by frame. I found some interesting things along the way that I didn't see by just watching the trailer through the first time. So here are 16 screen grabs from the new Resident Evil Afterlife Trailer.
At the end of Resident Evil Extinction Alice releases all of her clones, to take the fight to the Umbrella headquarters. This is one of the Alice clones. In some of the later screen shots you can see two women dressed exactl...

I wouldn't normally post something like this but these look exceptionally good and may give people an idea of what the 3DS will look like. These are fan made renderings of the 3DS by Oliver Demangel. Take a look at his Flickr page he has a lot of really cool work.
